“Charlie Brown’s Christmas Nutcracker”

Our 5th Annual Fundraiser for the Covenant Soup Kitchen. We are proud to have raised thousands of dollars in past years to help feed those members of our community in need. The Soup Kitchen serves families, senior citizens and the homeless. You can find out more about their mission at .

This year's show, “Charlie Brown’s Christmas Nutcracker”, will be on Saturday, December 14th at 2:30 p.m. with a rehearsal the evening of Thursday, December 12th from 5-8:30 p.m. Dancers must be available both days to participate. We are excited that this year’s show (and rehearsal) will take place in the newly renovated Schaffer Auditorium on the campus of Eastern Connecticut State University. The cost to participate is $35 and includes the rental of one costume and tickets are a $5 minimum donation at the door. All proceeds go to the Covenant Soup Kitchen's programs.

Dancers are not required to participate, but it is a fun experience and a great way to give back to our community. It is a great chance for dancers to experience the stage in a more laid back and casual setting. Dances will be learned during classes in the month of November. Thursday the 12th is the only rehearsal outside of class time. Dancers who wish to participate should be able to commit to perfect attendance in the month of November, so they can learn their dance. They will borrow a costume from the studio for the rehearsal and performance. Costumes are cleaned after the show each year and saved for the next time.
